The flames broke out shortly before 6 pm: the firefighters on the spot with various means

It happened just before 6 pm today, Saturday 11 March. Part of the roof of a farmhouse caught fire.

The flames were noticed by a boy who was passing through via Lumetti, in Chiari (in the countryside, near the border with Coccaglio). Part of the roof of a farmhouse caught fire and in a short time, the fire began to spread. The call to the Chiari fire brigade was immediate. A cloud of black smoke immediately rose to the sky and is visible from miles away.

Firefighters in action

On-site the Chiari volunteer firefighters with 3 vehicles. Firefighters are working hard, enveloped in smoke, to put out the flames. In the meantime, others arrived to support them and continued the shutdown with 8 active vehicles.

Once the available water ran out, the firefighters started using that of the adjacent castrina.

No injuries

Luckily no one was injured before firefighters arrived and everyone had already left the building.
